With Embrace, alternative therapies are covered for only up to 12 weeks, then the rest is coming out of your pocket.
Embrace only covers up to $1,000 in dental illnesses per year. After that, you’re on your own.
Petplan’s one simple plan covers physical therapy, acupuncture, hydrotherapy and chiropractic care all at no extra charge.
Embrace only covers alternative therapies for 12 weeks. After that, you’ll have to pay for everything out-of-pocket or stop your pet’s treatment.
Petplan covers all of your pet’s teeth (every adult tooth—not just the canines) from accidents, illnesses, injuries and diseases, up to your annual limit.
Embrace only covers up to $1,000 in dental illnesses per year. If your pet requires costly dental surgery, you could be on the hook for an expensive vet bill.
According to American Veterinary Dental College, almost a third (20-27%) of canine patients have fractured teeth, and in cats, resorptive lesions can be as high as 68% prevalence—Embrace’s coverage won’t protect your pets from all of these conditions.
Should you require hospitalization for 4 days or more, we’ll cover up to $1,000 of your pet’s boarding fees.
Embrace doesn’t cover boarding fees, so if you’re ever hospitalized, you’ll need to pay someone else to take care of your pet.
